Sullivan University System Schools Recognized as Military Friendly

gijobsLOUISVILLE – Three schools in the Sullivan University System have been recognized as Military Friendly Schools.

Sullivan University, The Sullivan College of Technology and Design and Spencerian College have been named by Victory Media – publisher of G.I. Jobs and the Guide to Military Friendly Schools – as Military Friendly Schools for 2017.

The 2017 Military Friendly Schools list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools doing the most to embrace America’s military service members and student Veterans.

This marks the seventh consecutive year Sullivan University schools have been recognized as Military Friendly. Sullivan University’s long partnership with and commitment to active duty, reserve and veteran military personnel includes operating an extension at Fort Knox in Kentucky for more than 30 years.

“It is once again an honor to be recognized as one of the Military Friendly Schools in American,” said Sullivan University President Glenn Sullivan. “It is a privilege for me to serve with a group of professionals who are committed to ensuring that every student is provided a quality education and gainful employment upon graduation from the Sullivan University System.

“We are proud to have the opportunity to serve and work with military and veteran students in achieving the necessary skill training and education for the foundation for a second career,” President Sullivan said.

Sullivan University students can receive college credit for military training according to the degree program by using the Joint Services Transcript system. Students may also quality for additional benefits including the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Veterans Educational Assistance Program Other potential benefits include the Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP), Vocational Rehabilitation and other grants and scholarships.
