An Invasive Cardiovascular Technology associate degree will train you to perform diagnostic procedures.

The mission of the Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program is to provide educational opportunities for you to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes conducive to the challenges within the field of invasive cardiology. Experiences prepare you to practice safely and effectively with clients who have diverse cardiovascular health needs. Additionally, the Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program’s purpose is to prepare you for an entry-level position in the field of cardiovascular diagnostic medicine. Within the stimulating college environment, you will be afforded the opportunity to achieve educational and personal growth goals while developing the technical skills necessary for success as a professional invasive cardiovascular technologist. The program can be completed in 21 months in our day classes.

The Invasive Cardiovascular Technology AAS degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT). Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exam through Cardiac Credentialing International. Spencerian College has the only accredited invasive program in the state of Kentucky.
